Special Tour:
Yonaguni Island
Season: January to March
Yonaguni Island is located at the westernmost point of Japan. The main style of diving here is drift diving with entry by boat. The Yonaguni Monument, which was discovered in 1986 by a local diver Kihachiro Aratake, is one of the best spots here. There is still debate over whether the underwater ruins at Yonaguni are natural or manmade, but either way it is still an unforgettable sight to see!
Also, if you have ever dreamt about diving with huge schools of scalloped hammerhead sharks, this is one of the few places in the world where you can! The rush of adrenaline you will feel when you suddenly see more than 100 hammerhead sharks all at once is unbeatable.
