Yonaguni Island is located on the westernmost point of Japan. Drift diving which entry from a boat is the main diving style here. Undersea Ruins, which discovered in 1986 by the local diver Kihachiro Aratake, is one of the best spots in Yonaguni Island.
If you dream about diving with huge schools of scalloped hammerhead sharks, this is one of the few places in the world you can do that! The adrenaline becomes so intense when suddenly, you see more than 100 hammerhead sharks! Yonaguni is also the place where you can dive the famous underwater ruins. There is still a lot of debate about wether or not the ruins are natural or man made, but either way it is still a sight to see and the energy over there is incredible!
