PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diver Specialty Course in Okinawa

The PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diver Specialty Course is the most popular PADI specialty course worldwide. Why? Because diving with enriched air nitrox allows you to extend your no-decompression limits, especially on repetitive dives.

If staying underwater longer, reducing surface intervals, and feeling less tired after dives sounds appealing, then this course is perfect for you.

What Is Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diving?

Enriched Air Nitrox contains a higher percentage of oxygen and less nitrogen than regular air. This reduces nitrogen absorption in your body, allowing for longer no-decompression times and safer repetitive dives when used correctly.

This course focuses on planning, analyzing, and safely using nitrox, making it ideal for certified divers who want to improve safety and comfort underwater.

Why Take the Enriched Air Course in Okinawa?

Okinawa offers incredible dive sites that often include multiple dives in one day, such as Kerama Islands, Manza, and Minna & Sesoko. Enriched air nitrox is especially beneficial in these conditions, allowing you to maximize bottom time while maintaining safety.

Theory – PADI Enriched Air eLearning

The theoretical portion of the Enriched Air Diver course is completed through PADI eLearning, allowing you to study online before the course day.

  • Online theory and knowledge development

  • Nitrox physiology and safety procedures

  • Gas analysis and dive planning

  • Final knowledge review and assessment

The eLearning must be completed before the practical session.
