PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course in Okinawa
The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course is the perfect next step after completing your Open Water certification. Despite the name, you do not need to be an “advanced” diver to take this course — you can start immediately after earning your PADI Open Water Diver certification.
This course is designed to help you build confidence, improve skills, and gain experience through a series of supervised Adventure Dives, allowing you to explore different types of diving in a safe and structured way.
What Is the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course?
The Advanced Open Water Diver Course focuses on learning by diving. You will complete five Adventure Dives, each introducing a new diving activity or environment under the guidance of your PADI instructor.
As you log dives, you will refine your skills, develop better buoyancy and awareness, and discover new ways to enjoy scuba diving.
Theory – PADI eLearning
The theoretical portion of the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course is completed online through the official PADI eLearning system.
-
Theory is completed 100% online (eLearning)
-
Includes Knowledge Reviews for each Adventure Dive
-
No classroom sessions required
-
eLearning must be completed before the first day of diving
👉 This allows us to focus entirely on practical diving once the course begins.
Adventure Dives & Specialty Credits
Each Adventure Dive completed during the course may count as credit toward the first dive of the corresponding PADI Specialty Course.
If you have already completed a PADI Specialty, speak with your instructor — you may already have credit for certain Adventure Dives.
