Aguni Island is one of Okinawa’s most exciting destinations for big fish encounters, famous for the spectacular Jackfish (Bigeye Trevally) Tornado. During the peak season, massive schools of jackfish gather and form a powerful swirling tornado, creating one of the most impressive underwater scenes in Japan.This special dive trip is ideal for experienced certified divers who are comfortable with drift diving and changing current conditions.

  • Advanced Open Water certification or higher

  • Minimum 50 logged dives

  • Excellent buoyancy control

  • Comfortable with drift diving and currents

Trip Schedule Overview

Meeting point at Tomari Ferry Port (Naha) – 8:00 AM

  • Arrival at Aguni Island around 12:00 PM

 

Diving schedule:

  • Day 1: 2 dives

  • Day 2: 2 dives

  • Return to Tomari Ferry Port (Naha) around 5:00 PM on Day 2
