Manza is one of Okinawa’s most exciting dive areas, famous for dramatic underwater landscapes, deep walls, caverns, and the chance to encounter large pelagic species.This area is ideal for experienced and thrill-seeking certified divers, offering a mix of big marine life, unique geological formations, and excellent macro photography opportunities.

What to see during Manza diving ?

Manza is known for both big marine life and rare macro species. During your dives, you may encounter:

  • Silky sharks & whitetip reef sharks

  • Green turtles, eagle rays & stingrays

  • Giant trevally, tuna & Napoleon fish

  • Moray eels, octopus & lionfish

  • Pygmy seahorses & ornate ghost pipefish

  • Nudibranchs, shrimps, lobsters & crabs

  • Anemonefish and other reef species

Manza Diving – Key Information

  • Diver level: Advanced Open Water certified divers
    (recent diving within the past 12 months recommended)

  • Dive access: Speedboat

  • Dive type: Boat dives

  • Marine conditions: Big life, macro life, caverns & photography

  • Current: Sometimes strong – excellent for experienced divers

  • Depth: 5 – 35 meters (16 – 115 feet)

  • Water temperature:

  • Winter: 20–23°C (68–73°F)

  • Summer: 25–29°C (77–84°F)

What Does a Typical Day Look Like?

  • Meeting point at Seragaki Port – 7:30 AM

  • Arrival at the first dive site around 8:40 AM

  • First & second dives in the morning

  • Lunch break (lunch not included)

  • Third dive in the afternoon

  • Return to Seragaki Port around 3:00 PM

Price & What’s Included

3 Boat Dives – ¥21,000 per person

 

Included:

  • Hotel transfers (Chatan & Kadena area only, for guests without a car)

  • Tanks & weights

  • Professional dive guide

  • Underwater diving photos

 

Equipment Rental (optional):

Full equipment set – ¥4,000 per person
(BCD, regulator, wetsuit, fins/boots, mask/snorkel & dive computer)

In addition to big marine life, Manza is also well known for its exceptional macro diving, making it a favorite among underwater photographers.

Cancellation Policy:

  • Up to 7 days before – No cancellation fee

  • Up to 5 days before – 25% fee

  • Up to 3 days before – 50% fee

  • Up to 1 day before – 100% fee

Travel & Dive Insurance​

Aloha Divers Okinawa strongly recommends that all guests purchase their own diving and travel insurance. The company is not responsible for injuries or losses sustained during tours.
