Why Dive Miyako Island?
During the winter season in Okinawa, strong northern winds make the northern coast of Miyako Island rough. As a result, diving is concentrated on the southern side of the island, where conditions are calm and ideal for cavern diving.
Miyako’s dive sites are famous for their extensive cavern systems, dramatic rock formations, and beautiful light penetration, making it a dream destination for divers who love overhead environments and underwater photography.
