If you want to scuba dive safely and confidently down to 40 meters / 130 feet, the PADI Deep Diver Specialty Course is the essential next step in your diving education.
What Is the PADI Deep Diver Specialty Course?
The PADI Deep Diver Specialty Course teaches you how to manage gas supply, buoyancy, narcosis awareness, emergency procedures, and dive planning for deeper dives beyond 18 meters / 60 feet.
This course significantly expands your diving limits and opens access to some of the most impressive dive sites in Okinawa, including deep walls and historic wrecks.

Theory – PADI Deep Diver eLearning
The theoretical portion of the Deep Diver course is completed through PADI eLearning, allowing you to study dive theory online before the course starts.

Course Requirements

Minimum 15 years old

Advanced Open Water Diver certification (or equivalent)

Course Structure
The PADI Deep Diver Specialty consists of 3 open water boat dives, conducted over one full day.
Typical Schedule

Meet at Seragaki Port – 7:30 am
-
Arrival at first dive site around 8:40 am
-
1st & 2nd dives (morning)
-
Lunch break (lunch not included)
-
3rd dive (afternoon)
-
Return to port around 3:00 pm
Important Information

Participants under 16 years old should be accompanied by a parent

For safety reasons, we recommend at least 18 hours between your last dive and flying
